Emergency Vehicle Detection Device.

This project will use a 1-RF transmitter and 1 RF-receiver. The transmitter will send a signal (tone) from the emergency vehicle replicating the emergency vehicle tone. The receiver will demodulate the signal and place the signal into the radio to be played through the speakers. This will alert anyone with the system that an emergency vehicle is within 500 feet. There will also be an LED that will light up for the hearing impaired or for someone who does not have their radio on.

Water temperature and flow control system.

This system will monitor the temperature of water and the amount of water in a bathtub to ensure that extreme temperatures are not exceeded and that a certain volume of water is not exceeded. This project involves not only designing the control system but also the gears, valves, etc for the mechanical side.

Human Skin Light Absorption

This project is to research the light absorption rate of human skin. If the research is favorable we will be designing an imaging device using IR light.
