| Mr.Scott Bowles, P.E., President of Spectrum Engineering, will share with us the challenges and developments in the electric utility world. Spectrum specializes in offering design, testing, and diagnostic services. In 1996, Spectrum developed, patented and implemented a comprehesive SCADA system (Utility Management Sentinel). More recently, Spectrum has been involved in assesssing the feasibility as well as designing telecommunication solutions. This expansion has grown out of the initial applications of optical fiber for high speed relay communications between substations. |
Scott graduated from Tri-State University in 1986 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He became a Professional Engineer in 1990 and received his MBA from Indiana University in 1992. He joined Spectrum Engineering in 1985 and was named President in 2004. | |||||||||
