| Whether its Internet Traffic, Data Storage or Radio communication detecting and correcting errors and understanding error codes is essential. Dr. Peterson will be providing an overview of the Error Correcting Codes and Error Control Techniques. Portions of this work has been recently presented to the US Air Force under a different title. Our community should benefit from this valuable work. | |||||||||||||
| Dr. David R. Peterson is presently a technical member of the Fort Wayne Region Engineering team as a Senior Principal Systems Engineer in Network Centric Systems where he is responsible for system design and analysis of spread spectrum systems, including ECCM and LPI/D waveforms and associated INFOSEC devices. He has been associated with the HAVE QUICK System since its inception and is familiar with encryption techniques, including the SAVILLE system. He is a past IEEE Section Chairman. He was the General Chairman for the AFCEA/IEEE Tactical Communications Conference (TCC) in 1994. He participated in all 6 of the TCCs. | |||||||||||||
