NSWC Crane has a congressionally mandated mission to transfer technology to the commercial sector. This transfer doesn't just include ideas but also access to world class facilities, equipment, people, and intellectual property. Businesses can also collaborate with NSWC Crane to make use of our resources including our intellectual property (IP) to further their research and development and/or create new IP together. Companies can license NSWC Crane's existing IP as well. |

Businesses can use tax payer bought resources located at NSWC Crane at a reasonable cost and on a not to interfere basis with mission essential work (seldom an issue). NSWC Crane has multiple agreement types to do testing, engineering, manufacturing, repair, failure analysis, etc. These are available typically when companies can not have these services done by the commercial sectors due to availability, quantity, quality, or schedule. NSWC Crane currently has an offer to provide a one time 32 hours of free support to any Indiana company. | ||||||||||||
| On Jan 22, John Dement from NSWC Crane's Technology Engagement Office will be discussing these resources and how local businesses can access them. | |||||||||||||
