Engineering, science and technology has contributed to the business and commercial success of many of Northeast Indiana communities for the last century. Global business giants, national recognized businesses and small entrepreneur enterprises all call Northeast Indiana home. These organizations are enabled by thousands of engineers in our communities. The contributions of these engineers can be contributed to their hard work and ingenuity, their education from Indiana’s nationally recognized engineering schools and from professional engineering societies. The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers Fort Wayne Section is using its Centennial in cooperation with other professional engineering societies, other science and technology organizations along with several area busienss to create an event to benefit the community.
